Fund Administrator

Our client is seeking a Fund Administrator to undertake fund administration, bookkeeping and reporting for a single portfolio of active venture capital funds.

Key duties will include, but not be limited to the following listed tasks: 

  • Receive and tend to investment recommendations from the Investment Advisor
  • Complete investment checklists to evaluate if the investment recommendation falls within the Funds’ rules
  • Review and arrange execution of investment documentation
  • Input payments for settlement of investment trades
  • Prepare/review call and distribution notices and send these notices to investors
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Custody reconciliations
  • Bookkeeping of all transactions of the Fund
  • Attend and take minutes of all board meetings
  • Distribute quarterly reporting to all investors within the Funds’ deadlines
  • Collate and distribute annual tax reporting information to all investors within the Funds
  • Prepare reports for the board meetings 

The following qualities/skills will be expected:

  • Ability to consistently work accurately under pressure. Attention to detail is essential
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Prior practical fund administration experience in a financial institution or professional services firm
  • Good Excel skills
  • Qualified or part qualified: ACCA or ACA / ICSA / STEP or other relevant qualification
