HR, Payroll and Training/Learning & Development jobs are very popular in Guernsey and involve looking after an organisation’s people whilst adhering to employment legislation. Most Guernsey employers of 20+ staff have some kind of HR presence and/or Payroll and L&D. Roles start at Administrator level up to Director and sometimes specialised, e.g. focussing on Reward/Benefits or Employee Relations, whereas many HR roles are more generalist and varied. CIPD qualifications may be studied.
