HR Support Officer

Do you have previous experience in HR administration and processes? Then read on for more information on this new and exciting role. As HR Support Officer, you will be a key member of the team and be the first point of contact for employees and line managers in dealing with a wide variety of HR queries and activities.

The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:

  • Providing confidential advice on a broad range of HR matters relating to company policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, and employee benefits.
  • Dealing with employee relations issues and providing support to line managers.
  • Responsibility for the onboarding process, including employee inductions, settling in of new staff, and development actions.
  • Preparing documentation for employment contracts, references, etc.
  • Submitting payroll.
  • Conducting exit interviews.
  • Reporting absence. 
  • Ensuring all training needs are met.

Applicants must have a good working knowledge of local employment legislation and practice, have previous exposure to HR projects and a strong understanding of the recruitment process. You will also need experience in assisting with absence and performance management activities and ideally have a relevant HR qualification, although this is not essential.
