IT Support Engineer

Do you have a strong technical background and enjoy problem-solving? An IT support and consulting business is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team.

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing basic training and guidance to users 
  • Diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues
  • Logging, tracking, and managing incidents and service requests
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all IT issues 
  • Assisting in the administration of IT systems
  • Maintaining accurate records of technical issues and solutions

For this role, prior experience in IT support would be preferred, preferably with exposure to both 1st and 2nd line support responsibilities. In addition, strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration, troubleshooting skills for Office 365 and as well as other IT systems, and an understanding of networking basics is required. The ability to work well in a team environment is also needed, as well as having a driving license.
