Junior Relationship Manager

A private bank is looking to recruit a Junior Relationship Manager, to assist the Trust & Corporate Relationship Managers in providing support in the management of existing clients and sourcing and developing new business in the Trust & Corporate sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the new business & risk and compliance teams to ensure all account opening and account/client risk assessment/monitoring in respect of AML/CFT procedures are followed and satisfied
  • Support the Relationship Managers in  business development objectives specifically, income (lending, transactional banking and foreign exchange) and liquidity (deposit) targets, by helping to win new clients, leveraging existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering outstanding service in all that we do;
  • Management of client relationships including attending client meetings where appropriate, to include but not limited to:-
  • Managing client communication by email, mail and telephone, including resolution of queries
  • Identifying and managing any risk related factors in any new or existing business
  • Ensuring the client records are kept up to date e.g. correspondence, signatories etc.

  • A good understanding of the regulatory environment
  • Knowledge/awareness of the offshore Financial Intermediary market
  • Detailed knowledge of the account opening, CDD and risk review/assessment process
