Our client has an opening for a Contract Programme Manager to work for 6 months initially, playing a central role in the planning and delivery of a re-profiling/modernisation programme.
The post holder will become involved in supporting service improvement and strategic development, they will undertake all aspects of programme management on allocated programmes, as part of a delivery team, to ensure that business requirements are clearly defined, benefits are delivered as defined in the business cases and risks are managed appropriately.
It is essential that candidates have proven programme and project management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering programmes and projects within time and resource constraints, including knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation. Proven leadership skills with an ability to work effectively with a range of individuals and groups involved in programmes and individual projects. Also Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office i.e.Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook plus Project and Visio.
Desirable applicants will hold professional qualifications such as: Prince 2 Practitioner and/or MSP Practitioner.
