Compliance Officer

Are you a funds professional with strong leadership skills? A funds and administration company is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance and advice to staff and management on matters involving regulation
  • Ensuring an understanding of Guernsey regulations
  • Ensuring the compliance team is operating in accordance with department procedures 
  • Reviewing compliance registers ensuring they have been completed correctly
  • Undertaking reviews and compliance monitoring tests
  • Producing first draft compliance/AML reports for the Board
  • Acting as nominated officer in the absence of the MLRO 

Ideally, for this role, you need knowledge and experience of Fund Administration and Fund Compliance and Fiduciary and Company Administration along with knowledge of AML/CFT regimes.  Attention to detail is also required, along with strong managerial skills with the ability to prioritise work and support and develop staff.
