A financial services company is looking to recruit an Assistant Tax Manager, to join their tax team to provide direct support to the Tax Manager, Trust Administration teams and the directors.
- Assisting with the overseeing and reviewing the tax compliance requirements of all UK tax related trust and company clients and the preparation of more complex work.
- Compliance tasks include but are not limited to: UK income tax returns, forms 50(FS), inheritance tax accounts, P11D work, tax reporting to beneficiaries and P11D reporting, VAT Returns and ATED returns.
- Assisting with overseeing and reviewing of the tax compliance requirements of all Guernsey tax related company clients. Compliance tasks include Guernsey Income Tax returns
- Liaising with clients and their professional representatives either directly or via the Trust Administration teams as required on tax related matters.
The desirable candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification e.g. CIOT, ACA and ACCA, have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, have good numeracy and computer skills and have commercial awareness in relation to fees and cost to benefit ratios of work undertaken.
