Compliance Administrator

Our client is seeking a compliance professional with circa 3 - 5 years relevant experience (ideally in a trust and/or fund environment), to join their team as a Compliance Administrator to provide further support to the Guernsey Compliance function. 

Responsibilities will include:

Regulatory framework and monitoring

  • Reviewing and reporting the findings for various compliance reviews in line with the compliance monitoring programmes.
  • Maintaining and updating the various compliance registers and logs to evidence compliance with appropriate Policies, Procedures and Controls.
  • Checking all electronic reports against their computer data base to ensure there are no matches for restricted individuals or companies for fraud, drugs or any criminal activity as described in the AML/CFT regulations.

Reporting / Projects / Training

  • Assist the Head of Compliance to co-ordinate and organise the production of the Compliance Board pack for Management meetings and quarterly board meetings.
  • Real time review of high risk payments

The desirable candidate will have a knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory framework in respect of trust/fund, be Ideally, full or part-qualified in Compliance/AML - or another relevant professional body. They will also have an eye for detail and good written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines – both team and personal
