We’ve moved up in the World! You may have seen our recent social media posts, however we’re delighted to say that we’re now settled well in our new offices, one floor up from the previous premises, at 3rd Floor, Wolverton Place, Market Street. And believe it or not, the new space is actually bigger!
After 20 years in our previous office, it’s great to have more room and all new furniture, and we even have a staff room and balcony as well as TV advertising on the walls, which we’ve never had before. We were delighted to be able to sell, with the help of Officepoint, our previous office furniture, which was in good condition, and we donated all of the proceeds to Grow Limited – www.grow.gg - a charity close to our hearts.
With lovely views over the town church and islands, our new premises is light, spacious and airy, with all the mod cons.
Moving to new premises is a great morale booster for the staff too, and a chance to alter the space to fit exactly what we need. Our Business Support, Holly, has really enjoyed all of the shopping required for new bits for the office. Getting paid to shop! Can’t be bad. (Sorry it’s not for shoes or handbags though, Holly.)
We have space for team expansion now with 2 spare desks and room for more, although at least one of those spare desks may be getting filled quite soon, watch this space!
We also have on the reception wall an amazing original artwork by our own Digital Officer, Evie Smith. It represents the strong foundation of Situations plus our future growth. We're delighted to have art by a staff member in our office.
With these new premises, the positive message is strong to our clients and candidates that we’re here to stay with a long-term business plan mapped out, a fantastic team of staff and further expansion on the horizon.
