Describe one experience that challenged you? Becoming a mother and to this day a daily challenge sometimes, but truly also providing me with the best experiences of my life.
What would you sing at Karaoke night? Any Christmas carol, I love Christmas!
What three items would you take with you on a deserted island? Water, sun cream and a classic book that I could read again and again!
Is your glass half-full or half-empty? Definitely half full!
If you could have a drink with someone from history who would it be? Amelia Earhart, a fearless inspiring lady pilot, one of the first women to fly.
If you weren’t working in the job you have now, what would you do?. A volcanologist – I have a thing about volcanoes!
If you could change something in the world, what would it be? Mass production of meat, I find the treatment of the poor animals kept in these numbers deeply upsetting.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve received? If you want to change the world, start with yourself.
What is your favourite family tradition? When my daughter and I spend Christmas with my brother and his family we always watch Terry Pratchet’s The Hogfather, just awesome
