Our client is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to join their IT department, and to be involved in managing business as usual and change project activities, covering a variety of industry-standard IT hardware/software and building infrastructure within the organisation.
Key duties:
- IT Technical support of industry-standard hardware and software.
- Delivering IT and related assistance via the Service Desk.
- Liaising with other in-house technical teams, users, third-party vendors, and consultants.
- Providing support for IT projects.
- Performing routine inspections and maintaining existing installations.
- Follow internal processes and procedures including Change Management.
Essential experience/skills:-
- Minimum of 3 years' technical experience supporting Microsoft OS’s and Applications.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience providing IT support to business users.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Time management, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to Citrix, O365, Mitel, Active Directory is desirable
- Exposure to IT Processes and Standards is desirable
