Trust Officer - Cayman

An award-winning global business is seeking someone with 3-5-years private client trust experience to join their  Private Client Trusts team as a Trust Officer.  The successful candidate will report to an Account Manager in support of the on-going administration of a large portfolio of Trusts in their Private Client Trust team.

Key duties:

  • Administer the  life cycle of trust and company structures with diversified portfolios
  • Draft routine trust and company documents
  • Reviewing bank statements and preparing portfolio performance reviews
  • Coordination of FATCA/CRS/AEOI reviews for new business
  • Assistance with collection of accounts receivable
  • Assistance with the maintenance and updating of statutory books and database administration and related statutory filings and payments
  • Coordinating and collection of KYC materials and attending to client onboarding

The desirable candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Possess a working knowledge of corporate and trust laws as applied in a multi-jurisdictional context
  • AEOI experience (reviews, classifications, due diligence)
  • Ability to organize and minute trustee/director meetings
  • Ability to review and draft trust/corporate documents and resolutions
  • Practical experience in database administration (ideally Viewpoint), Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with review of investment and financial statements
  • Possession of or a willingness to pursue STEP qualification would be advantageous
