This is a senior role assuring the delivery of treasury related services to a company’s clients through the development and oversight of the systems, processes and controls of the department and direct management of the Treasury Department staff.
Much of the role relies upon the building and maintaining of face to face relationships, internally with the client service teams to understand their respective clients’ treasury service needs, and externally with banks/investment managers to ensure that those needs are met and delivered to a high standard within the required time frames.
Operationally the role is mostly advisory and strategic. However, the position also provides for the segregation of duties and oversight away from the day to day processing carried out by the other members of the Treasury Department, including acting as the primary administrator of the various on-line banking systems.
