Trainee Desktop Support Engineer

Our client is seeking a Trainee Desktop Support Engineer to join their IT team. 

The role holder will responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating and resolving computer-identified alarms, perform software deployments and migrations, host management and automate routine operational tasks. 

The position requires a combination of strong troubleshooting, technical and communication skills and includes a mix of on-call operational tasks and day to day technology support.

The desirable candidate will be working towards an ITIL Foundation Microsoft certification and experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
