Service Desk Engineer

A vibrant IT business is looking to recruit a Service Desk Engineer due to continuing growth.

The role holder will be responsible for supporting clients onsite and remotely, under direction from the Service Desk Manager, responding to support calls, assisting end users with the diagnosis and resolution of desktop, network and server issues.

Providing end user assistance and adhoc training as required.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a helpdesk role for at least two years and have the following attributes:

  •  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
  •  A good understanding of Microsoft Office is essential
  •  Experience with Exchange, SQL, Citrix and VMware is beneficial
  •  Ideally be working towards a Microsoft accreditation
