Senior Accountant

Are you a qualified accountant with experience in Insurance? If so, this could be the perfect role for you! An independent insurance company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing financial statements
  • Overseeing the production of accounts for clients 
  • Managing the audit process 
  • Preparing regulatory returns 
  • Overseeing the preparation of board backs and minutes 
  • Presenting reports to the board 
  • Maintaining the statutory records/documentation for clients 

For this role, you need 5 years accounting experience, ideally with some experience in insurance accounting. In addition, knowledge of IFRS 17 would be beneficial but not crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed, along with strong analytical and technical skills.
