Security and Internet Services Technician

A growing telecommunications firm is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Security and Internet Services Technician with an interest in modern technology and a passion for learning.

This role involves supporting the management and development of the security and ISP estate, and supporting the security strategy and operational objectives. 

Duties:

• Supporting internal security technology and tools
• Supporting internal Firewall estate including rule updates
• Supporting ISP environment including AAA, DNS and Linux operating systems
• Assisting development of automation through orchestration tools and scripting 
• Researching and evaluating emerging technologies and tooling
• Taking a fully active role in the standby and call out scheme to provide call out cover
• Working off-Island when required
