Regional Finance Manager

A legal firm is seeking an ACCA or ACA qualified candidate to join their team as a Regional Finance Manager, to manage the day to day running of the Finance function for the region working alongside the Managing Partners.

Key duties:

  • Oversee monthly management accounts process
  • Oversee annual audit process
  • Oversee and review Law Society audits in Jersey
  • Completion of partnership and company tax returns for a number of entities
  • Oversee and authorise payroll in Guernsey and Jersey
  • Manage the accounts payable function including oversight of the bank mandate
  • Management of staff across the region
  • Conducting frequent reviews of Accounts Receivable and Work in Progress reports in conjunction with Managing Partners
  • Oversee budget process for Guernsey and Jersey
  • Liaise with Managing Partners and Chief Financial Officer on regular ad hoc requests

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of effectiveness in each of the following skills and abilities:

  • Work independently and as a team member;
  •  Day to day management of the finance function and team;
  • Tact and diplomacy to deal with confidential matters;
  •  Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels of understanding. This will include high quality correspondence;
