IT Services Manager

Are you an experienced IT professional? An educational organisation is seeking an IT Manager to lead, manage and develop their IT service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing the IT service 
• Managing a team of IT technicians providing first and second line support.
• Managing and allocating resources, monitoring workloads, and ensuring effective utilisation of the IT team
• Ensuring IT projects are successfully delivered within scope, budget and time line
• Maintaining a high level of network availability 
• Providing support and advice to corporate services and other staff
• Ensuring maintenance work is completed ensuring appropriate records are maintained
• Responsibility for negotiating prices and  financial reconciliation of all IT purchases

For this role, you need a comprehensive understanding of modern IT environments both on premises and in the Cloud, along with management experience of an IT support team.  In addition, the ability to communicate complex information in a simple effective manner to a range of stakeholders is needed, along with good project management skills.
