A leading commercial company is seeking an IT Service Desk Manager to be responsible for day to day management of the IT helpdesk, service requests and IT asset management. The role holder will also be responsible for the line management of the IT Support Officer, ensuring the entire IT team prioritise requests and deliver high quality and timely service.
The desirable candidate will have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, have strong communication skills, have experience of providing IT helpdesk services and have experience of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems, and Active Directory.
Broad understanding of information technology is required. Experience of working with some of the following technologies is desirable:
A valid driving licence is required for this role.
