Commercial Broker

An insurance company is looking to recruit an Commercial Broker to join their team, to work pro-actively as part of a team providing a quality service to ensure effective day to day servicing of existing commercial and financial institution clients accounts and to seek opportunities for new business.

The role includes providing new business quotes, renewals and general administration of policies. It requires a first-rate communicator who will enjoy the extensive contact with clients and insurers both on the telephone and face to face and someone who is able to develop lasting client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience: 

• Previous knowledge/experience in an insurance based role.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Holds Cert CII or relevant CII professional qualification (or equivalent). Willingness to study towards or holds Dip CII (or equivalent).
• Confidentiality when handling customer information.
