Human Resources Director

Are you an experienced Human Resources Senior Manager looking for a fresh challenge? Our client, a leading compliance provider is seeking a Human Resources Director to ensure the HR function delivers value added service to management and employees, that reflect the business objectives of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing the people department
  • Ensuring staffing requirements are maintained
  • Managing complex employer relations
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and have the ability to interpret and apply legislation appropriately
  • Ensuring all HR guidelines are up to date 
  • Identifying trends in order to develop solutions and training needs
  • Working closely with management and employees to build morale and improve relations
  • Organising the contracting welcoming and induction processes 
  • Providing performance management guidance to line managers

The ideal candidate should be CIPD/HR qualified, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in dealing with complex employee relations.  Excellent communication skills are vital with the ability to build rapport with staff and management alike.  Good organisation skills are crucial, with a proactive approach to problem solving and improving efficiency.
