Key responsibilities
- Managing a team of accountants
- Overseeing and validating the accounting preparation by the team
- Collating and analysing data trends
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements
- Setting up systems to support the management of financial and regulatory reporting as required
- Supporting the management of the annual audit process worldwide
- Managing preparation and submission of tax reporting in Guernsey and other locations
- Overseeing the company procurement processes
- Overseeing and validating management information- specifically expense budget and expense analysis- including monthly and quarterly reporting
- Participating in Finance project work as required
For this role, you need to be a qualified accountant with 5 years + experience, along with good people management skills. In addition, you need strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 especially Word and Excel and excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
