Group Financial Controller

Are you an experienced accountant looking for a new challenge? A locally owned and run, commercial business, is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing the cash flow of the group 
• Working closely with cross-functioning teams
• Leading efforts to maintain and enhance the control environment
• Providing guidance, training, support, and mentoring ensuring a high-performance and motivated team
• Overseeing the production of accurate monthly reports and management accounts
• Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risk 
• Overseeing the preparation of statutory financial statements 
• Managing the audit process 

Ideally, you will need to be qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA and have previous experience in a similar financial leadership role. In addition, proficiency in financial software and systems is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and manage teams.
