Financial Planning Analyst

Are you an experienced accounts professional seeking a new challenge? A growing commercial business is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to work closely with their Budget Managers, leadership team and Board.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitoring spending on projects 
• Driving the long-term financial performance of the company 
  Developing financial best practise across the business
• Ensuring continued development and improvement of the organisations financial modelling
• Coordinating the production of the annual budget and rolling forecasts
• Assisting with the financial appraisal of investment opportunities
• Coordinating the production of information and explanations to external stakeholders for compliance, regulatory and auditing purposes

Ideally you will be qualified or have the equivalent years' experience, along with good IT skills in accounting systems. In addition, the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial managers is essential.  A proven track record of managing staff effectively is also required.
