A leading specialist provider of global fund administration services is looking to recruit a Facilities Supervisor, to provide assistance in the efficient running of the company’s facilities department ensuring that all departments within the company receive a high quality service in relation to their needs.
The role holder will provide people management support to the Operations Manager, Senior Manager and Director to ensure that all paper filing, scanning, archiving and secure documents are dealt with efficiently on a daily basis.They also will be expected to take ownership of the Health & Safety procedures and ensuring they are maintained up to date for the Guernsey business; ensure relevant emergency testing (e.g. fire alarm, security alarm, fire evacuation drills, water testing, etc).
The desirable candidate will have good IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft suite including word, excel, outlook, SharePoint, etc, have previously used a archiving system and have a working knowledge of local legislation as applied to Health & Safety at Work.
Ideally some experience in providing training but not essential and at least 3 years in a supervisory role with experience in dealing with staff at all levels.
