Deputy Data Protection Officer

Are you self-motivated with the ability to work alone or as part of a team? Do you have Data Protection experience? A large telecommunications firm is seeking an organised and methodical candidate to join their team as Deputy Data Protection Officer, until end of January 2024.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitoring and evidencing compliance with GDPR for the group's internal business practices, policies, and procedures.
• Reviewing marketing and client communications to ensure they are aligned to legislation and regulatory GDPR and data protection.
• Maintaining records of all data processing activities by the group.
• Assisting with regular audits and reviews, evidencing procedures and are being followed and compliant with legislation and identifying areas for improvement.

The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience to assist the Data Protection Officer in providing advice and their day-to-day obligations. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the relevant licence and regulatory rules including Data Protection Law that apply to this position.
