Do you have a strong Guernsey funds background with custodian or administration experience? An international bank is seeking a contractor to work within their Custodian Trustee section for 6 months.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the regulatory activities of funds to ensure they comply with all guidance and regulations
- Undertaking various governance functions such as the breach register, monitoring the status of CT checks, annual account reviews, scheme particular reviews, open and closed reporting and GFSC notifications
- Ensuring that all periodic reviews are carried out in a timely manner
- Reporting to the Assistant Manager anything that could be a pricing error or breach and assisting in the investigation and review of actual and potential breaches
- Assisting with the preparation and conduct of the sections regulatory on-site visits
- Assisting in reviewing and checking procedure updates
- Supporting the team and managers to provide cover for various tasks
For this role, you need good knowledge and experience of applying the rules and GFSC guidance notes applicable to the Collective Investment Scheme business in Guernsey. In addition, you need working knowledge of pricing sources and knowledge of the IT systems used in this work.
