Compliance Director

Do you have a strong compliance, corporate governance, and risk management background? Are you looking for a new challenge? Our client is seeking a Compliance Director to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure they remain up to date 
• Drafting and implementing new policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws rules, codes, and guidance ensuring they are tested to ensure they are effective
• Responsibility for the maintenance and accuracy of the organisations log and registers
• Assisting with MLCO/Directors with coordinating the organisations response to regulatory reporting and enquiries
• Providing regular MLCO/CO reports to board 
• Oversight of the compliance team
• Assisting with the review of new business proposals and attending relevant meetings

The ideal candidate will have 8 years'+ working in a Guernsey-regulated environment, with an in-depth knowledge of the relevant laws, and regulations, and an understanding of the GFSC handbook. You will have a relevant qualification, with strong organisational, and analytical skills, with a methodical approach, are required, along with good leadership abilities.
