Compliance Consultant

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and proactive compliance professional, with demonstrable experience in working on their own initiative, to join a legal firm as a Compliance Consultant.

Reporting to the Director and working alongside the team, you will support and generally participate in the ongoing success and growth of the Compliance department, in addition to managing and growing your portfolio of client relationships.

Key duties:

• Day-to-day client advice and assistance
• Draft and implement client policies and procedures
• Bespoke advisory work
• Project work
• Design and Deliver Training and Awareness Programmes
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, to help retain and attract more clients and work into the business. 
• Effectively negotiate with clients about fees.
• Effectively monitor WIP and amounts billed against cost estimates and agreed budgets and billing arrangements.

Applicants must hold an ICA Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent), undertake an MLRO and/or MLCO role, and have a minimum of 10 years' Guernsey compliance, previous GFSC POI and/or Fiduciary experience and have excellent attention to detail.
