Compliance Officer

A medium sized trust business is seeking a Compliance Officer, to assist within the Compliance Team as required, by supporting junior members of the team and by contributing to ad hoc projects from time to time.

The role holder will build a good working relationship with the Administration and Operations teams and explain any proposed changes to procedure to comply with the Handbook. They will also be capable of preparing risk assessments, client and Enhanced Due Diligence and prepare and plan a Compliance Monitoring Programme, including file and transaction reviews.

The desirable candidate will have worked in a similar role for at least 5 years, be familiar with the rationale for client screening and the various systems available and be willing to undertake a relevant qualification if not already held.
