Responsibilities:
- Recommending and promoting practical and cost-effective actions.
- Evaluating the effectiveness and contributing to the improvement of risk management processes.
- Following up on previously reported issues, to ensure that corrective actions have been taken.
- Preparing and delivering monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Contributing to the preparation and coordination of Audit Committee packs as required.
- Drafting and presenting reports on the results of audit testing.
- Developing detailed test plans to assess the operating and design effectiveness of the control environment.
The perfect candidate for this role will have or currently be training for a professional qualification, have strong academics, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and previous experience in internal control, risk management, and governance theory concepts.
