A medical group is seeking an Administration Assistant to support their busy team by being the first point of contact on reception and to undertake all the following varied administrative duties:
- Greeting people on reception, answering calls using the switchboard
- Checking in patients, making appointments and ensuring patients are dealt with in a professional, prompt and efficient manner
- Ensuring stock is replenished in all rooms
- Taking payments
- Scanning documents and updating patients records
- Sorting internal mail and distributing daily courier deliveries
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Confident and professional telephone manner and good verbal and written communication skills
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
- Take ownership of role and set priorities
- Basic but accurate typing skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft products
