Administration Assistant

Do you work well as part of a team and enjoy having a varied role?

A medical group is seeking an Administration Assistant to support their busy team by being the first point of contact on reception and to undertake all the following varied administrative duties:

  • Greeting people on reception, answering calls using the switchboard 
  • Checking in patients, making appointments and ensuring patients are dealt with in a professional, prompt and efficient manner
  • Ensuring stock is replenished in all rooms
  • Taking payments
  • Scanning documents and updating patients records
  • Sorting internal mail and distributing daily courier deliveries

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Confident and professional telephone manner and good verbal and written communication skills
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
  • Take ownership of role and set priorities
  • Basic but accurate typing skills 
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft products
