I’ve been working for Situations for 15 years now – doesn’t time fly and how things have changed!
When I joined Situations we still posted out CV’s to clients by snail mail, we had one mobile phone in the office for texting candidates that we all shared (now we have texting software on our PC’s), there weren’t any recruitment web portals for submitting CV’s and we didn’t need to obtain any CDD on our candidates. Our temp and contract business has also grown significantly over the years – when I joined we had 16 temps out on assignment every week and now we have loads! We’ve always embraced change here and although our roles involve a lot more admin than in previous years, what hasn’t changed are the strong relationships we maintain with both our clients and candidates. Fifteen years in I still truly love my job and work with a fantastic team. It’s such a wonderful role to be able to help people achieve their career dreams.
