This is a great opportunity to get in at the start of a new e-business within an established commercial company.

The ideal candidate will be degree-educated, preferably in marketing with a minimum of 2 years in business/marketing and an ability to adapt writing style to write across a multitude of platforms, and preferably experience/training in PR.

The purpose of the role is to help create and drive consumer demand by developing and implementing marketing plans and communications across all channels on and off-line. The roleholder will also act as the first port of call for enquiries.

A commercial company is seeking a Marketing Manager. The breadth of the job may vary depending on the level of the successful candidate.

The role-holder will be responsible for planning and organising marketing activities and task allocation to team members; responsibility for a marketing budget; relationships with third party suppliers e.g. advertising agencies and media and giving presentations to team members.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years’ marketing experience with 3-5 years’ people management experience and hold a CIM Post-graduate Diploma or equivalent marketing/business degree. Excellent communication, budgeting and creative skills are required.

The company wishes the appointee to start as early as possible.
