A fund administration company has a vacancy for an administrator to join its team.

Duties will include:

co-ordination of drawdowns, distributions, financial reporting etc.
co-ordination of 3rd party invoice payments
maintenance of database
collation of due diligence and ongoing CDD held on investors
board reporting on activities of the fund structures
co-ordination of audit and K1 reporting process

The successful candidate will also provide support in areas such as corporate governance, co. sec. and finance.

A fund management company has a vacancy for a Fund Administrator with a working knowledge of investment instruments and excellent knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word, a good understanding of CDD, anti-money laundering guidelines and local legislation.

The successful candidate will carry out a varied role including:

complete weekly dealing, reporting and NAV verification
review work by junior administrator
perform cash management function
liaise with all third party service providers
complete ongoing quality checks re. client files and dealing reports
carry out client/IFA enquiries
review client monies accounts
liaise with investment advisors etc.

The post holder will hold or be encouraged to undertake a relevant professional qualification. This position will be suitable for someone with previous fund experience or a compliance/KYC/AML background.

Technician – Alternative Investments

An 8 month contract is offered at this global financial services group.

The role is an operational processing one. The roleholder will receive trade instructions from clients and investment managers and, using an online system, ensure each of those instructions is executed appropriately and within deadlines.

This will include:

preparing legal documentation for subscriptions and redemptions
inputting payment transfer instructions
receiving and resolving client queries
monitoring exceptions and resolving

This role is deadline driven and the successful candidate will need to be a fast learner.

A private equity company has a senior vacancy for an experienced P/E funds person to be responsible for a portfolio of private equity limited partnership funds and their corporate general partners and who can contribute to other company clients.

Candidates are expected to have:

a minimum of 3 years’ private equity fund experience
sound experience with accounting aspects of funds and private equity fund accounting systems
sound knowledge of limited partnership and corporate law
corporate and company secretarial experience
holding a qualification such as ACA/ACCA or ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance & Administration or studying towards one.

Administrator – Private Equity

This fund administration company has a vacancy for an Administrator, ideally with a relevant qualification such as IDFA, ICSA, CAT P1-P3, AAT (foundation/intermediate), ICSA (foundation) or ACCA F1-F3. You will be given in-house training to enable you to acquire a sound knowledge of the private equity business and fund documentation.

Administration duties will cover the investment, divestment, drawdown and distribution processes, corporate secretarial tasks and investor and client queries.

At least 1 year’s fund administration or fiduciary experience is required.

Senior Private Equity Fund Administrator

A successful private equity company is seeking a Senior Administrator to undertake day-to-day tasks for a portfolio of clients, assist with training of Administrators and support the ‘B’ and ‘A’ signatories.

The role is very varied including assisting with briefing papers, gaining awareness of fund documentation, assisting with the smooth running of the investment, call and distribution process, attending board and internal meetings etc.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge of double entry book-keeping, a sound knowledge of company secretarial tasks, general knowledge of banking systems and possess good IT skills.

Target qualifications required are IDFA, AAT, CAT and partly or fully qualified in ACA, ICSA, IFS or CIMA.

Custodian Trustee Operations Specialist

assist with the take-on, restructuring and exit of funds
be responsible for customer due diligence
conduct initial review of revised fund documentation
collate data and prepare internal documentation and checklists

Candidates should have experience in a relevant compliance or controls role and also in new business take-on in a fund administration or custodian trustee environment.

A contract is offered from July to December 2012.
