A commercial company has a senior position for someone with at least 10 years’ foreign exchange and money market experience to a senior level, at least 5 years’ advanced risk management and compliance skills, an ACI dealing diploma or equivalent Treasury exams and an ability to analyse, interpret and recommend strategies on treasury and financial data.

The roleholder will principally be responsible for analysing and monitoring counterparty risk, cashflows and foreign exchange plus managing the lending book, which will include collation of data and reports for group companies as well as attendance at meetings.

A banking group is seeking someone with proven experience at management level, a high level of technical knowledge of retail and wholesale payments and a sound knowledge of general banking practices including BACS and cheque clearing.  Proven management experience is essential with ideally 5 years’ management experience.

Duties will include:

• undertaking day-to-day management of retail international payments ensuring all client payments are effected in accordance with cut-off times
• providing day-to-day assistance in respect of wholesale payments, ensuring all deal tickets and payments are processed
• undertaking system testing and business continuity planning for the department and developing payment functionality when required.

An ACI qualification is desirable but not essential but the role-holder will be encouraged to commence studying for relevant qualifications.
