A telecommunications company is seeking someone with proven IT technical knowledge for this interesting position.
Principal accountabilities are:
- ensure high availability of all IT systems for staff
- operation, maintenance, upgrade and management of all servers
- assist with management of IT Helpdesk and call logging system
- assist with performance, growth and budgeting information
- undertake supervision of other team members, contractors etc.
There will be a requirement for some off island working.
Candidates will be expected to attain and maintain a specified professional qualification. A high level qualification in computer science or related field is desirable but not essential. A minimum of 3 years working with medium or large IT installation is required.
