The first step in your search for new employment is to prepare that all important curriculum vitae
Your CV is a record of your education, employment, qualifications, skills and experience. The CV shows a potential employer whether you are capable of doing the job, so preparing a comprehensive document is vital. The old “3 page” rule, that CV’s should be no longer than 3 pages, is not actually true. As long as your CV isn’t overly lengthy, the more information you can provide the better, particularly when listing your duties in your current employment.
