Companies agree with coaching
80% of organisations surveyed by the Institute of Leadership & Management have or are using coaching and 95% believe it benefits the organisation and individual.
but they’re not making it available to junior staff
It’s mostly middle managers and above that receive coaching with only 52% of organisations offering it to all staff. Interestingly, external coaches are mainly used for senior executives and are subject to a rigorous selection process. Internal coaches are used for lower level staff and a third of organisations surveyed don’t offer development or support for internal coaches.

Jenny and Melissa have both just had a cake extravaganza weekend! Jenny visited the Houses of Parliament, no less, for a champagne afternoon tea with a tower of cakes, and Melissa had afternoon tea in St Malo – the cake was huge!
